MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT
An App Nobody Opens Twice Is a Very Expensive Icon.
Native or cross-platform, built for what your app actually needs to do — not because 'app' sounded more impressive than 'website.'
Most businesses that ask for an app don't need one — a fast website does the job for less money and no app-store gatekeeping. We'll tell you that upfront if it's true. When it isn't — when you genuinely need push notifications, offline access, camera or sensor access, or something that has to live on a home screen — that's when it's worth building.
We're newer to shipping apps than we are to shipping websites, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. What that means in practice: an early app client gets more of our direct attention, not less, while this becomes as proven a track record as our web work already is.
HOW IT WORKS
The Journey
Scope
We figure out what the app actually needs to do that a website couldn't — and talk you out of features that don't earn their place. Over-building is the most common way app budgets get wasted.
Build
Native or cross-platform (React Native/Flutter), chosen based on what the app needs to do, not what's trendiest this year.
Test
Real devices, not just a simulator — the bugs that actually ship are the ones a simulator never shows you.
Launch
App Store and Play Store submission handled end-to-end, including the parts of that process nobody warns you are slow.
Support
An included support window after launch — OS updates break things on a schedule you don't control, and we're the ones watching for it.
WHAT IT COSTS
One Price, No Store-Fee Surprises
Covers both platforms unless you only need one — App Store and Play Store fees are billed directly to you by Apple/Google, not marked up by us.
Mobile App
From US$12,000
Native or cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android.
Questions People Actually Ask
Do I need iOS and Android, or can I start with one?
Depends entirely on where your users are. If you already have a customer base, we'll ask what phones they use before recommending anything. Cross-platform frameworks let us usually ship both without doubling the cost.
How long does this actually take?
12-16 weeks for a typical app, from scoping to store submission. App review adds a few extra days on top that's outside our control.
What happens when iOS or Android pushes an update?
That's what the support window (and the ongoing Maintenance & Support plan afterward) is for — we monitor for breaking OS changes so you're not the one finding out from a 1-star review.
